Explore Ukrainian IT: B2B-trip for startups
- Kyiv, Ukraine
- 15.04.2018
- 12:00
The Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (NUCC) is together with the Norwegian Embassy in Kyiv, organising a business trip for Norwegian startups to Ukraine April 15th-18th. The trips is an opportunity to explore the opportunities in Ukrainian IT and get to know potential IT-partners.
At the trip you will:
- Get insights into Ukrainian politics, economy and opportunities in IT
- Learn how to successfully outsource and do business with Ukrainian IT-providers
- Have B2B-meetings with Ukrainian IT-companies
Ukraine is about to become an attractive IT and outsourcing destination in Europe. The Global Sourcing Association (GSA) UK nominated Ukraine as the offshoring destination of the year in 2017. Many Scandinavian, including Norwegian startups, are using Ukrainian IT-specialists. The reason is the access to high IT-competence to a reasonable price. Ukraine has the largest pool of IT-specialists in Central and Eastern Europe. Most of them develop products or work for international clients. Four years after the Maidan revolution, Ukrainian businesses are looking towards Europe. Norway is one of the most popular markets. This creates substantial opportunities for Norwegian companies looking for a good IT-partner.
Below you can find the program. Small changes in time might occur. Topics and dates are fixed.
The trip is partly funded. Travel and accomodation is covered. You only need to pay a small fee on 1500 NOK (egenandel).
We recommend those who are interested to register as soon as possible. There are limited places. The principle is first come first served. Last chance to register is April 8th.
If you have any questions regarding the trip, please contact Linda Skjold Oksnes, responsible for IT-relations in NUCC.
