On April 4, 2023, our member First Chair Legal will hold an online event, “LIVE: Whether or not you need AEO and custom/transit simplifications” / “Чи потрібні вам АЕО та митні/транзитні спрощення?”. 

Despite the significant advantages provided by the status of Authorized Economic Operator and customs/transit simplifications, the level of use of these tools in Ukraine remains low. According to the State Customs Service of Ukraine, in the first five months of the “customs visa-free” period, 1,744 transit declarations were issued (for comparison, 50,000 are issued on the territory of the EU every day). And only one enterprise received the AEO status. 

Ukrainian business representatives still have many questions, which First Chair Legal partners Oleg Kyryevskyi, Iryna Pavlenko, Maria Khoma and Yuriy Repeta will try to answer and explain everything from a practical point of view.
