Oslo Anti-Corruption Conference

NUCC will participate in 7th Oslo Anti-Corruption Conference which will be hold in digital format this year 9-11 June.

We encourage our members to join 7th Oslo Anti-Corruption Conference; the hallmark event for the Anti-Corruption community in Norway. This year through the digital concept, we are also inviting the international community to join us. The conference concept is focusing primarily on the consequences of corruption and how to prevent corruption through new mitigating initiatives.

Organisers of the conference are bringing together government enforcement representatives, practitioners, and subject matter experts to discuss trends and new preventive initiatives on an operational basis with participants working in the field of anti-corruption from both the public, private and civil society sector.

During the conferences there was focus on the situation in countries that are relevant for business operations by Norwegian companies. At this year’s conference, we will take a closer look at the situation in Ukraine and the challenges that Norwegian companies with operations in the country, are facing.

This year the Oslo Anti-Corruption Conference will have many renowned national and international speakers with an opening keynote from the ØKOKRIM director, Pål Lønseth, as well as leaders of the authorities’ efforts against corruption in the USA, UK and Ukraine. We are very proud of Daniel Kahn, Acting Chief, US Department of Justice, Fraud Section, is returning to the conference as well as SFO UK introducing Sara Lawson QC, General Counsel. We are also very glad to introduce to the conference the director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), Mr. Artem Sytnyk.
