We would like to invite Norwegian textile producers to join our first Production Business Trip to Ukraine.  Time to explore what Ukrainian textile market has to offer to the Norwegian manufacturers!

Who?: Norwegian companies working with textile/apparel and looking for new production bases, partners or inspirations. The companies that are producing/selling or working with clothes, shoes, swimwear, accessories, fabrics, workwear, uniforms, non-woven materials, technical textiles, home textiles, as well as equipment for the clothing industry.

When?: September 10th – 13th, 2019

What?: During the study trip to Kyiv, Ukraine the participants will find out about the Ukrainian textile production and market, as well as will visit different production bases, attend relevant seminars and Kyiv Fashion Week, participate in B2B meetings and NUCC Networking Forum.

How much?: NOK 2 000/participant (1500 NOK/participant for the members of the partner organizations)

We cover expenses for one person per company. It is possible to send more participants; however, the travel expenses for more people have to be covered by the companies.

Why participate?: The Ukrainian textile industry is steadily growing when Norway is highly depended on the import of textile. Some important reasons to consider Ukraine for cooperation within clothes/textile production:

• Free trade agreement between Ukraine and Norway,
• It is not only cheap to produce clothes/textile in Ukraine but the already established Ukrainian brands are becoming more trendy in the world. Even Hollywood celebrities often prefer dresses made in Ukraine not only as daily attire but also for the red carpet! 
• Ukraine has a broad network of international trade partners – 16 FTAs signed that cover 45 countries.
