For over 20 years in Ukraine, the process of creation of condominiums that affects every inhabitant of an apartment building continues. As of the beginning of 2018, the number of condominiums is 27420, according to the Ministry of Regional Development of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine. As of April 25, according to the Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Gennady Zubko, in 2018, 1919 ACMHs were created.

The Ukrainian Forum of ACMHswill bring together the existing chairpersons and board members of ACMHs interested in the creation of condominiums, representatives of multi-apartment building companies, government representatives, NGO representatives, and representatives of financial institutions to discuss efficient management of a multi-apartment building.

One of the key issues in this area is the energy efficiency of multistory buildings. In 2018, in Ukraine, there are 107 local purchases of cheap “warm loans”, which is 23% more than in the past. These programs were funded for a total of UAH 115 million, which is by 28% more than in 2017, then the sum amounted to only UAH 82 million. The largest funds were allocated for the implementation of urban programs in the Lviv region (18 million), Kyiv (10 million), Lviv (10 million), Kharkiv oblast (8 million), and Lutsk (8 million).

The main focus of the forum is the energy efficiency of multi-apartment buildings since the Ukrainian Forum of Condominiums ’18 will take place within the framework of the Ukrainian Energy Week ’18. The event will last from November 19 to November 21 at the NSC “Olympic” and will consist of three forums: Ukrainian Investment Forum “Oil and Gas” (November 19), Ukrainian Renewable Energy Forum (November 20), Ukrainian Energy Efficiency Forum (November 21st).

How to get compensation for home insulation, how to monetize subsidies, which are sources of financing ACMHs and much more – we will discuss on the Ukrainian forum of condominiums. The forum program will consist of three blocks.

The first unit is energy efficiency for ACMBs. The main focus of the block is the consideration of real cases reducing the numbers in utility bills:

–      How to thermo-modernize your home and why you need a fund for energy efficiency;

  • Do you need energy audit in multi-apartment buildings and how it affects municipal bills;
  • What is “warm loans”;

–      Whether it is expedient to monetize subsidies and privileges.

The next thematic block of the Ukrainian Association of Condominiums will be devoted to the creation of condominiums in its home. This block will be relevant not only for those who have not yet created the condominiums but for those who want to find out what mistakes can be made in the condominiums created:

–      How to create condominiums to avoid errors, as well as how to solve these errors;

  • How to get funding for your ACMH;
  • ACMH and ЖЕК: how to avoid conflicts, or solve them;

–      Maintenance of multi-apartment buildings in-house buildings.

The last block of the forum will deal with the functioning of ACMHs, all aspects of its maintenance of the home and adjoining territory. For those who have faced problems with the functioning of ACMHs or want to avoid them, we have highlighted the following topics:

–      How to save on utility bills;

  • What is the model of contractual relations for communal services of condominiums, and what the correct model will help you;
  • How to help pay debts without conflicts;

–      “Privatization” is not terrible.

As already noted, all cases considered will be as practical as possible for convenient use in your condominiums. The existing heads and members of the Board of Condominiums will share their experiences and tell the real cases of the operation of multi-apartment buildings. In particular, the chairman of the board of ACMB “Aran” will share the experience of creating an original system of protection of their home.
