New FAM trip to Ukraine

Worldwide tourism is growing, driven by the increasing affordability and new flight routes. In addition to the low prices, good service and the opportunity to get there quickly, Ukraine has also beautiful landscapes, incredible architecture, rich history and delicious food. This and much more we managed to show to the Norwegian tour operators last year during the study trip organized by NUCC.

At the time of the last visit to Kyiv, Lviv and the Carpathians the participants had the possibility to get an update on the political situation from the Embassy of Norway to Ukraine, talk to the Head of Tourism Department at the Kyiv City State Administration, meet Lviv City mayor and experience the country as tourists themselves.

This year we would like to continue our work to increase tourism between Ukraine and Norway. Therefore, we will organize a new FAM trip for Norwegian tour operators to Ukraine on August 9th-14th. This time the participants will travel to Kyiv, Lviv and Odesa. In collaboration with our local partners we have designed a program that would show the best of what Ukraine has to offer to Norwegian tourists. During the tour we will visit different restaurants and hotels, get to know about the recent trends in Ukrainian tourism industry, political, economic and the security situation in the country.

We are also very glad to receive support from our local partners, who will cover expenses related to our stay in Ukraine and NUCC covers travel expenses. However, a participation fee of NOK 1,000 per participant is required. We cover expenses for one person per one company/tour operator. It is possible to send more participants; however, the travel expenses for more people have to be covered by the tour operators.

If you are interested to participate in the tour or have more questions, please contact Anatolii Kyryliuk  by email: ak@nucc.no
