Alumni meeting in Ukraine
Last weekend alumni from the Young Entrepreneurs Program 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 met outside Lviv in Ukraine. The program for the weekend was filled with a workshop, lectures, presentations and social activities.
Katinka Kolsakker from Innoco Ledelse and Sjur Dagestad held an engaging workshop for YE alumni called “Design thinking for a sustainable future”. All the participants were divided into groups where they had to define a need and come up with solutions which can contribute to a more sustainable future.
During the event participants also had a chance to learn about and discuss peculiarities of Norwegian and Ukrainian culture, which are important to understand for doing business and building relations between Norway and Ukraine.
Some of the participants also shared their stories about how the Young Entrepreneurs Program helped them to build up their network, inspired them to change their career, start their own business, and also how the program is contributing to Norwegian-Ukrainian trade relations.
This year NUCC is going to arrange the Young Entrepreneurs Program for the fifth time. That means that next year there will be around 100 alumni. We are already looking forward to the next YE Alumni event in Oslo in August 2020.
NUCC would like to thank Sjur Dagestad and Katinka Kolsakker from Innoco Ledelse for coming to Ukraine and sharing their knowledge and experiences with participants.
