From Ukraine to Norway: IT Innovations and Partnership
As part of Oslo Innovation Week on September 24th, the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (NUCC), in collaboration with the IT Ukraine Association, organized a business meetup titled “From Ukraine to Norway: IT Innovations and Partnership.” The event began with opening remarks from representatives of NUCC, the IT Ukraine Association, and the Embassy of Ukraine in Norway. All of them emphasized the resilience and innovative spirit of the Ukrainian IT sector, which continues to operate despite significant challenges.
This set the stage for a series of insightful discussions on how Ukrainian IT talent can contribute to the growth and innovation of the Norwegian tech ecosystem. The panelists explored topics such as building sustainable IT partnerships, enhancing cybersecurity, and the impact of emerging technologies on various industries. They shared success stories and practical strategies that highlighted the value of cross-border collaboration.
After the panel discussion, participants had the opportunity to connect directly with industry leaders. The networking session provided a platform for exchanging ideas, exploring potential partnerships, and discussing future projects that could leverage the strengths of both Ukrainian and Norwegian tech sectors.
In a time when digital transformation and cybersecurity are at the forefront of business priorities, events like “IT Innovations and Partnership” play a crucial role in fostering bilateral collaboration. With Ukraine's reputation as a hub of tech innovation and Norway's strong business acumen and market potential, the meetup served as a catalyst for future partnerships that could redefine the tech landscape in both countries.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our co-organizer, the IT Ukraine Association; our partners, Devlight and Nova Digital; and our supporters—the Embassy of Ukraine in Norway, IKT-Norge, and Innovation Norway. Their support was crucial in making this event a success and fostering stronger connections between our tech communities.
