KyivBuild Ukraine 2025: Insights from NOCON visitor

KyivBuild brought together representatives of state and local authorities with foreign financial institutions and a construction business community to discuss current status and coordinate efforts around the recovery of Ukraine.  

Visiting KyivBuild NOCON had few goals:  

  • To explore how the construction exhibition in Kyiv is organized, as we will be exhibiting at InterBuildExpo (March 19-21).  
  • To join conference on rebuilding and obtain information on the successful experience of local communities in attracting foreign investments into social infrastructure projects.  
  • To meet with partners and discuss the current status of our projects in Ukraine.  
  • To get acquainted with exhibitors construction materials producers.

The discussion at the Conference was focused on the following key issues:  

  • Housing: plans to replace old Housing Code, last changes in eOselia (affordable housing loan program) increasing the share of apartment sales from developers,  enhancing the energy efficiency, cooperation with European Investment Bank allocating 400 million euros.  
  • Communities: international cooperation between local communities (1000 out of 1400+ haven't had foreign partners yet) and current best practices how to build a relationship and cooperation with foreign communities, procedures in cooperation with financial institutions and donors.  
  • Digitalization of construction sphere and Confederation of Builders of Ukraine plans to develop a platform to unite manufacturers with international partners.  

The manufacturers of concrete and concrete constructions, roofs, construction ceramics and hemp even, facades, equipment for the construction industry, as well as construction media and educational institutions were among exhibitors.  

After visiting KyivBuild, we feel more prepared for InterBuildExpo, have made a list of events to attend in the first and second quarter of 2025, through effective networking, we have had more contacts with state and local authorities, media, international financial organizations, construction materials producers and continue to look for and create opportunities for cooperation in social infrastructure reconstruction projects.
