NUCC secures three-year Norad Grant: Empowering Ukrainian Businesses
The Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that it has secured a three-year grant (2025–2027) from the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad). This funding will enable NUCC not only to maintain, but also to expand its activities, supporting a robust Ukrainian economy through job creation, capacity building, and business growth.
New perspectives for SMEs
The project focuses on broadening trade opportunities for Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and facilitating their integration into the Scandinavian market. In 2025, NUCC plans to open a new UA-NO Business HUB in Kyiv, allowing companies to create added value in Ukraine and contribute to the Building Back Better initiative. This HUB will serve as a platform for the Nordic approach to doing business, offering practical tools and training programs for SMEs. It will also become a key meeting point for Norwegian delegations and Ukrainian entrepreneurs to forge collaborations.
Membership and future expansion
Currently, NUCC has over 180 members, including 113 Ukrainian companies and 73 Norwegian and international partners. This balanced structure unites diverse expertise, experience, and networks while actively supporting entrepreneurial initiatives in Ukraine. With the newly allocated financial support, NUCC aims to attract additional partners and enhance cooperation by focusing on boosting exports between Ukraine and Norway and strengthening key sectors such as IT, Seafood & Agriculture, Energy, Manufacturing, and rebuilding initiatives.
Looking ahead
We extend our sincere gratitude to Norad and all our partners for their trust and support. The next three years promise active collaboration, fresh ideas, and new projects aimed at fostering a thriving Ukrainian business sector.
Together, we are building a stronger Ukrainian economy!
