NUCC ANNUAL REPORT 2021

In 2021, our Organization continued to support our NUCC members, partners and network, relevant businesses, as well as work with media and search for new business opportunities for Norway and Ukraine. Even though our lives and job tasks have changed dramatically in 2022, we are proud of the accomplishments we made in 2021.

Ukraine and Ukrainian enterprises are currently in an incredibly difficult situation and require Norwegian support more than ever before. We strongly condemn Russia's horrific attack on Ukraine and urge Norwegian businesses to continue working with and in Ukraine. It is critical to keep orders, workers, and projects if at all feasible, and then to assist in the reconstruction of Ukraine when the time arises.

-Kjartan Svaland Tveitnes, Managing Director at NUCC

Our main priority in 2021 was to continue facilitating bilateral B2B contacts, raise the interest of Ukraine in the Norwegian business community, The Young Entrepreneurs Program, scale up the activities in our sector projects, and support members, partners, and relevant businesses during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Throughout 2021, the Chamber organized a series of online webinars (offline meetups), networking events and receptions, and delegation trips. NUCC had considerable less expenditures in 2021 than budgeted, due to COVID- restrictions and more digitalized activities. The NUCC team throughout the year managed to be creative in a challenging situation and delivered very good results. However, some activities did have to be fully postponed or cancelled in light of the pandemic situation.

More information on our activities, projects and results can be found in the full report here: NUCC Annual Report 2021.
