Ukraine is looking to Build Back Better: What financial tools are available to unlock Ukrainian and Norwegian competence, technology and capital?

  • Bygdøy Alle 2, Oslo / online
  • 25.10.2023
  • 13:00 - 14:45

Ukraine’s aspiration to “Build Back Better” is at a critical moment, calling for collaborative efforts and strategic financial tools to drive sustainable recovery and development. This event will serve as a platform to explore current available financial instruments that can unlock the potential of both Ukrainian and Norwegian expertise, cutting-edge technology, and capital.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has for years been the largest institutional investor in Ukraine, and therefore has a distinct and important role in the country. Given its financial toolbox and operational experience in the region, it is one of the major first partners for the Nansen Support Programme to Ukraine.

We have invited senior EBRD representatives to showcase their activities in Ukraine’s recovery and how Norwegian and Ukrainian partnerships can use EBRD financial mechanisms to unlock vital competence, technology and capital for Ukraine.

Committed, and yet to be committed, Norwegian and Ukrainian businesses and authorities will add their perspectives, aiming to inspire action towards a resilient future for Ukraine. Together, we’re looking to foster growth and prosperity by forming a strong alliance of capabilities and resources. Come join us in this journey towards a victorious and more prosperous tomorrow for Ukraine!
