Networking meeting on energy sector in Ukraine

In cooperation with the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Kiev and the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (NUCC), INTPOW is pleased to invite you to a meeting about the opportunities within the renewable energy sector in Ukraine. The meeting takes place on Wednesday 17 September in INTPOW’s office from 14:00 to 16:00

Ukraine has seen a troublesome spring and summer. Nevertheless the potential for renewable energy in the country is large and the demand is high. Being the second largest country in Europe with a population of 46 million, Ukraine is a significant energy market. With its large rivers and mostly flat, windy terrain, the country is richly endowed by nature from a renewable energy point of view.

Over the next few years, Ukraine aims to (1) diversify its base of foreign suppliers/investors, (2) decrease consumption and (3) increase domestic production. This provides interesting opportunities for the Norwegian renewables business, primarily with regard to hydropower and wind power.

Against this backdrop, INTPOW in cooperation with the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Kiev and the Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (NUCC) has the pleasure of inviting you to an afternoon with the president of APEU (Association of Alternative Fuel and Energy Market Participants of Ukraine), Mr. Vitaliy Daviy. He will give an overview of the industry and the opportunities. He will also take questions and be available for one-on-one meetings.
