Fifteen Years of Successful Cooperation within the "Ukraine-Norway" Project

Our long-time member and partner, Nord University in Bodø together with the International Foundation for Social Adaptation (IFSA) are marking 15 years of their extensive project “retraining and social adaptation of military officers and their family members in Ukraine”. The project started in 2003 and united 19 universities in different regions of Ukraine in a joint effort to give former military officers in Ukraine and their family members practical skills in getting civic jobs and starting their own business. Since the start of the initiative in 2003, more than 9300 people successfully went through the educational program and found it very useful in their further employment. Both the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine expressed their gratitude to the organizers.

We wish the project further development and look forward to hearing more success stories from the participants!
