Green Visit - Hydrogen bus tour

Yesterday our Project Managers joined the tour, organized by Green Visits, to explore the innovative environmental, climate and renewable energy solutions developed and implemented in the Oslo Region.

The group visited the Waste Sorting Facility at ROAF (Romerike Avfallsforedling IKS). ROAF has developed one of the most advanced sorting facilities in the world utilizing near-infrared (NIR) technology to sort out resources from household residual waste. The vision to ROAF is: “Easy for you – Better for the environment“.

Our team had a chance to stop by one of the first hydrogen stations in Oslo region provided by Uno-X Hydrogen, the operator of Hydrogen Refueling Stations in Norway. One of the goals which Municipalities in the Oslo Region have is to reduce carbon emissions in Norway by taking in use hydrogen and electric vehicles. (Oslo is world-leading on electric mobility with a market share of battery electric passenger vehicles of 42% in 2018.)

NUCC would like to thank you Green Visits for the invitation and very well-organized tour!
