On May 24th NUCC together with the long-time member Wikborg Rein organized networking meeting in Oslo. The event was opened by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Norway Viacheslav Yatsiuk. The Ambassador emphasized positive trends in the Ukrainian-Norwegian cooperation andunderlined that dynamic growth of the Ukrainian economy and progress in internal reforms create conditions for further increasing of trade and investment between Ukraine and Norway.

Maryana Kahanyak, the Director of the Export Promotion Office, presented current development and trade opportunities for Norwegian business in Ukraine. Kjartan Pedersen, the Managing Director of NUCC, presented recent trends in development in trade between Norway and Ukraine and introduced a new step-by-step guide for Ukrainian exporters and Norwegian importers as a new tool for deepening of the trade and cooperation. The program included a panel discussion with leading Norwegian investors to Ukraine, such as Arne Mjøs (Founder and CEO at Itera), Magnus Johansen (Project Developer – Ukraine at Scatec Solar) and Øyvind Sætren (Business Developer – Ukraine at Pelagia). Øyvind Nordsletten, the First Norwegian Ambassador to Ukraine, was the moderator of the panel discussion.
